Glen began his television career as a Continuity Announcer at TVS in the late 1980s, moving to London Weekend Television and then the newly formed ITV Networks in 2002. In addition to that he has worked across a wide genre of programming from hard news to travel and from corporate to shopping.
During the mid 1990s he worked as a studio presenter for Sky News, being thrust into many unpredictable situations! Glen was one of the launch presenters for TV Travel Shop, the first ever transactional travel channel and has been involved in many other television launch projects.
His ongoing commitment to news involves presenting and reporting for Meridian ITV1’s south-east region, an area he has strong links with, having broadcast to that area on both radio and TV for more than twenty years. One of the most disturbing stories he has dealt with was the Zeebrugge Ferry Disaster in 1987.
At home in the studio and on location, Glen is very easy to work with and prides himself on ‘getting the job done properly’.
Whatever your project, he will give total commitment.
