Glen started work in radio during the second phase of Independent Local Radio (ILR) as one of team that launched Severn Sound in Gloucester in 1980. His early days were spent with a soldering iron, driving the radio car, (an old converted London Taxi) and as a technical operator.

He soon realised that his passion was to be in front of the microphone so the boss gave him the weekly rock show.

He went on to work for GWR in Wiltshire, Mercia Sound in Coventry and hosted the breakfast show on Kent’s Invicta FM during the late 80’s and early 90’s gaining some of the highest audience figures in the station’s history.

In between his work as a reporter & presenter for Meridian ITV1, Glen runs his own audio production studio in Kent and produces work for a variety of independent companies & corporate clients.

He spends some of his time as a lecturer in radio news production at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, Surrey. He also works as an associate to Press Alert - Crisis Management in Media Relations. www.pressalert.co.uk
